This privacy policy explains, in practical terms, what information Trade Ops Advisor may collect, how it may be used, and what visitors should expect from the site.

Information the site may collect
Trade Ops Advisor may collect information you choose to submit, such as your name, email address, company context, trade, or notes entered into newsletter or contact forms.
The hosting platform may also process standard request and technical data needed to serve and secure the site, such as browser or device information, referring pages, approximate usage patterns, or server logs.
How information may be used
Submitted information may be used to manage newsletter subscriptions, understand visitor needs, improve site content, evaluate product-market fit, or respond to contact requests.
Usage data may be reviewed to understand which pages, tools, and comparisons are most useful so the content and conversion paths can be improved over time.
Analytics, cookies, and third-party links
Trade Ops Advisor uses a cookieless first-party event endpoint to count page views and key funnel actions. Allowlisted anonymous events may be stored in hosting logs and delivered server-side to PostHog for longer-term reporting. Event payloads may include a random browser-session ID, route, tool, vendor, CTA context, company-stage result, affiliate status, timestamp, and allowlisted UTM fields. They do not include names, email addresses, contact messages, raw query strings, IP addresses, user-agent strings, or persistent cross-session visitor IDs.
The site does not currently set advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, this policy and any required consent experience should be updated before the new tracking is enabled.
The site also links to third-party vendors. Once you leave Trade Ops Advisor and visit a vendor site, that vendor's own privacy practices and terms apply.
Forms, providers, and contact
Newsletter signups are processed through Buttondown, contact requests are delivered through Brevo, and anonymous site events may be processed through PostHog. Those providers process information under their own privacy terms. Do not submit sensitive financial, legal, medical, or other confidential information through these forms.
